A postdoctoral position is available immediately at the Wayne State University School of Medicine. We are working to elucidate how targeting the TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) pathway improves cancer therapies. Research involves extensive tissue culture, molecular biology and biochemistry. We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist who must be enthusiastic and prepared to work the necessary hours required to develop a successful and highly productive research career. Candidates should have a PhD degree in cancer biology, pharmacology, or biochemistry. A strong molecular biology background with previous experience in protein-protein interaction studies is desirable.
