A Postdoctoral position is available immediately in the labs of Professor Peter Lobie and Dr Alan Prem Kumar for highly motivated Ph.D. graduates with backgrounds in molecular or cellular biology, biochemistry or who are interested in deciphering Wnt signaling in the context of cancer at National University of Singapore, Cancer Science Institute of Singapore. The successful candidate will help to design experiments, conduct experiments, analyse data, write papers, write grants, mentor students, and compete for fellowships.
We are seeking PhD graduates with background in cancer biology. Candidates with expertise in Wnt signaling and RNA biology with strong background and working knowledge of basic molecular and cellular biology techniques such as cell culture, cloning, real-time PCR, microRNA and western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry is preferred. Any experience with animal modelling, analyses of human clinical samples, RNA sequencing and/or RNA immunoprecipitation is highly desirable. Applicant should have a proven track record in the form of publications in top international English language journals with the ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
