We are seeking several talented and motivated individuals with training and experience in epidemiology to participate in ongoing research programs within the Epidemiology Branch at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIH/NIEHS). Research Groups with available positions include Aging and Neuroepidemiology; Biomarker-based Epidemiology; Chronic Disease Epidemiology; Genetics, Environment, and Respiratory Disease Epidemiology; and Women's Health Epidemiology. The NIEHS is one of the National Institutes of Health. It is located near the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina State University, and Duke University with opportunities for interactions and collaborations. These positions require an epidemiology degree; a background in the Group-specific area of research is beneficial, but not required. Salary and benefits are highly competitive and commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Initial appointments are two years with additional years possible depending on productivity and availability of funds.
