Post-Doctoral Teaching Fellow – MSc Clinical Embryology
Grade 7: £30,434 – £37,394 pro-rata p.a. with a discretionary range to £40,847 pro rata p.a.
A new exciting role as a part-time Post-Doctoral Teaching Fellow to assist the Director of the MSc in Clinical Embryology in the teaching and assessment of postgraduate students has become available. You will be based at the state-of-the-art Institute of Reproductive Sciences, in Cowley, Oxford.
You will assist in the development of new and exciting laboratory techniques as well as cutting edge and innovative teaching methods. You will have the opportunity to be trained in the advanced skills of micromanipulating gametes and embryos.
You will have experience of lecturing, laboratory teaching and the supervision of short laboratory research projects. A PhD (or equivalent) in human reproduction or developmental biology is essential. Experience in the micromanipulation of gametes and embryos, and the critical evaluation of written assignments is desirable although full training will be available. You will be organised with the ability to prioritise your own workload with minimal supervision and have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
