A postdoctoral position is available in Dr Sudhakar Jha’s laboratory at National University of Singapore, Cancer Science Institute of Singapore, to study the role of chromatin remodeling complexes in cancer prevention. We are particularly interested in studying the changes in chromatin signature due to deregulation of these remodeling complexes and how these alterations in genome organization lead to transformation of cells form a normal to cancerous state (Molecular Cell, 2010 Vol. 38:700-711; Molecular Cell, 2009 Vol. 34:521-533; Molecular and Cellular Biology, 2008 Vol. 28:2690-2700).
The successful candidate will investigate the role of the chromatin remodeling complexes in the maintenance of histone code and tumor suppression at protein and genome-wide level using cells in culture and knockout mouse techniques.
Applications should include curriculum vitae and bibliography, summary of past accomplishments, and the names and email addresses of three references….http://www.csi.nus.edu.sg/ws/
