SOCRU’s mission is to strengthen clinical research infrastructure atSUMC an******** affiliate******** to improve health in Shantouan******** throughout China.

To achieve its goal, SOCRU is (i) providing opportunities to Chinesestudents an******** to exchange academic expertise an******** ideas withUK scientists through domestic/oversea training an******** at UKun******** (ii) developing clinical research projects inSUMC-affiliate******** in Shantou, and (iii) setting up collaborativeresearch projects with hospitals an******** in other cities an********in China.
