Position Summary:

Ensure achievement of Key Accounts sales objectives in line with the Company's mission. Serve as the lead for service, support, and product delivery for Illumina products to the key accounts. Responsible for monitoring and managing customer satisfaction and then working across the Illumina organization to deliver world-class service and support to the accounts. Set goals for the team, provide feedback, and facilitate communication between Illumina and the key accounts. Manage both the customer relationship and the deployment of the Illumina resources allocated to the customers.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage the customer relationship and collaborate across Illumina to ensure the Accounts are both satisfied and are making optimal use of their Illumina systems
• Present information to the key accounts to maximize use of the Illumina portfolio
• Coordinate local sales activities and contract negotiations as required
• Assist the field team to plan and organize activities to ensure efficient and effective service and support is provided to the key accounts.
• Act as a central communication point between the key accounts and Illumina, to ensure information flow on all aspects of the business relationship is efficient and effective, and is actioned appropriately
• Contribute to the development of commercial infrastructure, processes, and systems to increase the quality and efficiency of support to the accounts.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of the key accounts including personnel and responsibilities, budgeting, internal politics, products and services, competition and market.
• Prepare compelling customer sales presentations and participate in all sales activities and assist with general customer demonstrations, trainings and support.
• Negotiate all genetic analysis sales in territory and generates associated sales contracts and quotations.
• Maintain profit margins through effective sales negotiation.
• Provide regular and accurate sales forecast updates.

All About You

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of direct experience in Clinical area or Life Science area.
• At least 3 years of management experience in a commercial role.
• Strong technical background in molecular biology or genomics is required.
• Well-developed professional and strategic sales skills with proven ability to develop and grow key accounts through networking at all levels on the customer organization.
• Strong customer-centric nature with a proactive approach
• Excellent listening, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated and successful leader who enjoys a challenging and dynamic work environment.

• A team oriented approach to the work environment.
• Attention to detail and analytical problem solving with strong decision making skills.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Detail oriented individual.
• Ability to fluently communicate in Mandarin and English is highly preferred

Educational:

• BA/BS or MS degree in Life Sciences, Ph.D. a plus.
