As the first line of contacts for OBGYN/NICU inpatient needs and acts asbridge between patients and Hospital internal parties in the medicalservices chain to provide and ensure the best medical experience forpatients.
• Introduce hospital and department scope of services to patients in apleasant, helpful manner • Provide assistance to doctors, nurses, cashiers, precertification,pharmacists and other staff in the department when needed to communicateeffectively with patients • Daily visit OB and NICU inpatients, rounding and assist on their needs • Coordination of services for patients/families during admission withnurses, treating doctor and physiological services (when needed) • Maintain confidentiality and comply with professional ethics accordingto professional and Hospital standards • Be part of the multidisciplinary patient rounding • Main point of coordination between the OB ward an home healthcare • Work closely with the department staff to make sure the quality of thecare provided to the patient. • Collects patient satisfaction survey data and prepares reports thatreflect the level of activity and relative satisfaction of the servicesprovided to patients. • Understand hospital policy and procedure, implement the policy andstandard. • Be alive to new ideas which could benefit the department and deliverhigh quality service to patients • Ensure patient complaints are properly logged and acted upon by tryingto avoid any patient leaving the hospital dissatisfied. • Assist head nurse to maintain the quality accuracy of record on HBsystem through website. • Assist midwife to maintain the quality and accuracy of birth log. • Flexibility to be on call and work on weekends • Attend different level of meetings as required • Any other duty assignment as needed
Above college degree in Nursing or Medical science preferred Three years or more OBGYN experience
