The position is initially limited for two years and can be extended depending on performance.
As successful applicant, you should have outstanding expertise in one or more of the following research areas: Polymer chemistry or physics, chemical modification of polymer surfaces e.g. wet chemical approaches or plasma-treatment and surface characterization of polymer-based materials via X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS, Auger, ISS, UPS), IR/Raman microscopy, zeta and streaming potential measurement, contact angle and surface tension measurement as well as ellipsometry, documented by publication record and a PhD. in a field relevant to these research areas.
You have a highly degree of self-motivation, enthusiasm, good communication and soft skills as well as a target oriented working profile. You are interested in building new competencies at the institute and to participate in sharing these in internal and external co-operations.
