Project Description:

A post-doctoral research associate position is available immediately in the Organic and Biological Mass Spectrometry Group at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. This position will involve research in protein structure characterization by mass spectrometry, with a particular focus on covalent labeling technologies. Work will involve development and testing of covalent labeling methodologies, mass spectrometric characterization, and computational data-mining for protein surface mapping as a means to probe higher order structure. Candidate must have a PhD in chemical or biological sciences, and documented experience in both protein structure research and protein mass spectrometry.

Qualifications: PhD degree required
Applicants cannot have received the most recent degree more than five years prior to the date of application and must complete all degree requirements before starting their appointment.
