Applications are sought for a 3 year MRC-funded post-doctoral research assistant to join a team investigating the clinical and functional consequences of Wilm’s Tumour 1 (WT1) mutation in acute myeloid leukaemia. The successful applicant will be based in the Centre for Medical Oncology, working with the molecular and stem cell biology groups of Dr Jude Fitzgibbon and Dr Dominique Bonnet (who is based at the CR-UK London Research Institute, Lincoln’s Inn Fields).

Essential requirements for this post include a PhD in a relevant subject, with previous experience in stem cell/cell biology and retroviral construction. A demonstrated ability to communicate well, work within a team and maintain good laboratory records are also essential. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1999.

This full-time post is funded by the MRC for three years. Appointment will be made on the Research Grade 4 scale with a salary in the range of ￡27,813-￡30,968 per annum inclusive, depending on experience (grading review pending). The benefits package includes:
