Description
A postdoctoral researcher position is available immediately to study cellular adhesion mechanisms contributing to the infection of mammalian cells by herpes simplex virus. This study involves aspects of cell biology related to intercellular adhesion and junctions as well as molecular aspects of viral interactions with cell receptors during entry. This research relies on multiple approaches including live cell confocal microscopy, protein purification, FACS and infection assays.
