Description

Postdoctoral positions are available in the Paterson Institute, a leading cancer centre of excellence core-funded by Cancer Research UK, which is the largest independent cancer research organisation in the world. The Institute supports a number of basic and translational cancer research programmes investigating the molecular and cellular basis of cancer and the development of new therapeutic approaches. It is at the heart of the Manchester Cancer Research Centre (MCRC) which integrates the cancer research efforts of the Paterson together with The University of Manchester, which is the UK's largest single-site University, and the Christie Hospital, the largest specialist cancer treatment centre in the country. Through these partnerships the Paterson Institute can combine strengths in basic cancer biology with extensive programmes in translational and clinical research.
