All selected candidates will begin their research work at the UAB during the first quarter of 2008.

Description

The UAB announces its call for 12 two-year postdoctoral research grants in different university departments.

Beneficiaries

The following candidates can benefit from these grants:

• Holders of a PhD received from a university other than the UAB after 1 July 1998.

• Holders of a PhD received from the UAB after 1 July 1998 who certify a minimum of two years experience in a postdoctoral research position in other universities or research centres.

Period

The grants last a total of 2 years and cannot be renewed. Grant holders will start during the first four-month period in 2008.

Salary

Amount per year for each grant: 24,750 Euro gross

Selection criteria

Candidates will be chosen by the corresponding departments and the final list of accepted candidates will be ratified by the Research Committee according to the following criteria: research experience, Curriculum Vitae and immediate benefit for both candidates and research department.
