Postdoctoral Research Associate
MRC Centre for Developmental Neurobiology

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate post funded by the Wellcome Trust to work in the group of Professor Anthony Graham in the MRC Centre for Developmental Neurobiology. The project investigates the roles played by neural crest cells in the development of the head. More specifically, it will analyse the establishment of the ectomesenchymal lineage within the cranial neural crest, and the role of Fgf signalling in this process, and it will involve the use of the chick embryo as a model. The project will involve collaboration with Professor Ivor Mason, and his group, who are also based in the Centre. The successful candidate will be part of a highly motivated team dedicated to understanding the mechanisms and molecules that underpin vertebrate head development.

Applicants must be highly motivated in research and hold a PhD with strong background in Developmental Biology.

This is a 3 year fixed term contract.
