Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Divisions of Cellular Therapy and Cell Biology
Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to work onthe molecular mechanisms of angiogenesis in retinal vascular disease.The project will involve generating new transgenic models of vasculardisease through targeted manipulation of gene expression in retinalcells. Skills in molecular biology methods and basic histology areessential. Experience in transgenic work and microscopy is desirable.The work will be carried out at UCL’s Institute of Ophthalmology. Theapplicant must hold a PhD in a relevant subject area.
The post is funded by the MacTel Foundation(http://www.mactelresearch.org) and will be for up to 2.5 years (in thefirst instance) depending on the start date of the successful candidate.
