Applications are invited to join the “Groupe de recherche enathérosclérose” at the Montreal Heart Institute in affiliation toUniversité de Montréal. Our group of research is interested indeveloping new imaging and circulating biomarker to improveatherosclerosis detection and treatment. We are particularly interestedin bone marrow-derived progenitor cells involved in vascular healthmaintenance and in studying mechanisms involved in therapies based onmodulation of reverse cholesterol transport. Our other main interest isthe development of animal models to develop new atherosclerosis imagingtechnologies and better understand atherosclerosis progression.
Qualifications: Applicants should have experience, supported bypublication record, in molecular and cellular biology applied tolipids-, optical imaging- or adult stem cells-related fields. Applicantsmust hold a doctoral degree obtained within the last 3 years . The idealcandidate should have demonstrated excellence in terms of creativeanalysis and publication. Applications will be considered from doctoralstudents who are close to completing their degree requirements.
