University of Idaho-Moscow, ID 83844-3024
Prof. Pesic has one opening for a postdoctoral research associate toperform the research in area of copper electrodeposition on copperdiffusion barrier films. The project is supported by the leadingmanufacturer of memory devices and sensors.
The objectives are to study copper electrodeposition reaction mechanismson several barrier candidate substrates, mainly refractory metals andtheir corresponding compounds. Particular attention will be paid on therole of refractory metal oxides on copper electrodeposition. The methodsfor prevention of oxide formation will also be studied.
Who should apply
PhD graduates in either of the fields, MSE, MET, ChE, and Chemistry.Strong background in electrochemistry is mandatory. Only the candidatesdriven by strong motivation to excel in research, as verified with thecurrent track of research publications and strong letters ofrecommendation, are encouraged to apply. The duration of postdoctoralposition is one year, with a very good prospect for extension. However, the appointment will always be dependant on the ongoing research performance
