Description
A 3 years postdoctoral position will be available in the Immunology and Infectious Diseases Unit (IID Unit), GIGA-R (Starting October 01-2008)
Applicant will be invited to work on the role of the tyrosine phosphatase DUSP3 in cell cycle regulation and cancer (see our publications : Nat Cell Biol, 8(5):524-31; 2006 and Cell Cycle. 2006, 5(19):2210-5). The project will involve working on mice models as well as human samples.
The candidate will join the newly established IID Unit-GIGA-R located in Liège University hospital. The state-of-the-art facilities of GIGAR include an operational BSL-3 and 5 BSL facilities, and SFP transgenic animal facility, and in-house core facilities for bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics and imaging.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and are expected to have a strong background in cellular and molecular biology, to be highly motivated, creative and capable of contributing productively in a team environment. Preference will be given to candidate with experience in animal models. The position is available for 3 years.
