Postdoctoral Position
for an initial two-years appointment with the possibility of extension.The position is available in the Department of Molecular Immunology.
The Position is available from the 1st of April 2008 or later.:
The project is embedded into a large consortium of the European Union(FP7), in which 14 excellent partners collaborate to understand theearly steps of T-cell activation at a systems level. We will closelycollaborate with mathematicians to understand the early steps of theintracellular T-cell signalling network, using multiple sclerosis as amodel system.
Payment and social benefits will be in accordance with the regulationsof the German TVoeD (salary agreement for public service employees) or apostdoctoral fellowship of the Max-Planck Society.
Women are especially encouraged to apply and handicapped applicants withequal qualification will be given preferential treatment. A childcarefacility is attached to the Institute.
Freiburg is the “capital” of the black forest and a lively universitytown located in the trinational Biovalley area between Switzerland,France and Germany. The Institute has a high percentage of foreignresearchers as well as a kindergarden for children of 6 month to 3 yearsof age. Our groups are also part of the “excellence programs” of theuniversity of Freiburg.
