Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced cell/molecularbiologist to join a young and dynamic team to study novel signalingmechanisms of receptors in the nervous system. We are studying how thecentral and peripheral nervous system develops and how its integrity ismaintained during aging and toxic insults.
The main focus will be to investigate the function of the receptortyrosine kinase Ret and other cell surface receptors in motor and/ordopaminergic neurons during development and aging. This question can beaddressed using transgenic mouse and fly models, tissue culture, andbiochemical assays.
