TEXAS A&M INSTITUTE OF REGENERATIVE MEDICINE IN TEMPLE, TX.
Post-doctoral and Faculty Positions
The newly established Texas A & M Institute of Regenerative Medicineis seeking post-doctoral fellows and faculty for research on adultstem/progenitor cells. The Institute is dedicated to research both onthe basic biology of stem/progenitor cells and their potentials fortherapies of human diseases. It will occupy newly renovated laboratoriesand a series of core laboratories in an expanding academic medicalcenter. Post-doctoral appointments will be for one year with theopportunity to renew for a second and third year subject to performance.Faculty appointments will be in an appropriate academic department andwill range in rank from tenure-track assistant professors to tenuredfull professors depending on qualifications. Faculty appointments willinclude institutionally-funded salaries, start-up funds, modernlaboratory space, and access to graduate students. Salaries and benefitsare competitive. Candidates should have excellent verbal skills and aPh.D. or M.D. degree from a well recognized university.
