The Center for Nanoscale Materials (CNM ) at Argonne National Laboratory has an immediate opening for a Postdoctoral Appointee position in the Theory and Modeling Group. The prospective researcher will be responsible for carrying out first principles and atomistic computation aimed at understanding interfaces and interfacial reactions in lithium-ion and lithium-air batteries, and their effects on battery performance. The position is funded under Center for Electrical Energy Storage � Tailored Interfaces (CEES ), an Energy Frontier Research Center (EFRC ) sponsored by the US Department of Energy.
The Center for Nanoscale Materials ( http://nano.anl.gov/ ) is a part of U.S. DOE’s Office of Science, Nanoscale Science Research Centers program dedicated to nanoscience and nanotechnology. Argonne National Laboratory offers excellent compensation and benefit packages.
