Description
A position is available for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to workfor up to 4 years in the Laboratory of Dr. Pablo Rodriguez-Viciana atthe UCL Cancer Institute (http://www.ucl.ac.uk/cancer).
The research project will involve the study and characterization ofrecently identified novel effectors of the RAS oncogene and theelucidation of their contribution to the many roles of the RAS pathwayin cancer. The successful applicant will have access to a wide range ofcutting edge technologies and equipment and will interact withresearchers focusing on related topics in cell proliferation, cellsignalling, live-cell imaging, proteomics, transgenic models and cancer.
Applicants must have a PhD in a relevant discipline with researchexperience in biochemistry, molecular biology and/or cell biology.
The funding for this post is available for four years from February 2008or later.
Salary will be on the University Grade 7, (£26,666-£32,796) + £2,572London Allowance. Appointments will normally be made to the bottom pointof this range.
