Postdoctoral Position at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, San Diego, CA
A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the laboratory ofLinda M. Bradley, Ph.D. fpr studies of the generation, persistence, andresponses of Th1, Th17, and Treg memory CD4 cells in type I diabetes. Weuse approaches with TCR transgenic and polyclonal CD4 T together withcytokine reporter mice to track and profile Ag-specific T cells usingcellular and molecular approaches with knockout and transgenic animals.Applicants must have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree with a strong background inimmunology but not more than 5 years of postdoctoral training.Experience with murine models, flow cytometry, and molecular techniquesis required.
The Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center has state of the art facilities in flowcytometry, imaging, genomics, and proteomics. The institute is centrallylocated in the Torrey Pines Mesa of San Diego that is home to a broadbase of immunology research.
