The projectis to study the biological and molecular mechanisms underlying memoryloss in Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and will focus on the dysfunctionalregulation of signalling pathways and their implication in memory lossassociated with the disease. Analysis of these pathways will beconducted in different rodent models of AD after learning.
The successful applicant should have a PhD, preferably in biochemistryor molecular biology or at least an depth knowledge in signallingpathways in the brain and expertise in biochemical analyses with anability to conduct a broad range of biochemical assays including westernblotting, immunohistochemistry, ELIZA, EMSA, immunoprecipitation, etc inbrain tissue.
