The Post-doctoral Research Associates
Post – Ref: RA474 - 5 years fixed-term
£28,290 to £33,780 per annum (w.e.f. 01/05/2008)
The BBSRC funded Postdoctoral Research Associate is based at theUniversity of East Anglia in the group of J. Andrew Bangham, workingtogether with Prof. Enrico Coen from the nearby John Innes Centre. TheAssociates will be involved in developing computational tools foranalysing and modelling the growth of plants. Why? Plants are important.Think, for example, about feeding the world and maintaining theecological environment. The post is available from 1 May 2008.
You need not have a background in biology, but must have:
• a PhD (or equivalent) and experience of programming at least one of
• Computer vision
• Image processing
• Graphics
• skills in programming in Matlab, C++ or equivalent.
