The DMM is located within the UCLA Medical Center, a block away fromWestwood Village. Westwood is a tourist attraction known for hundreds oftrendy shops, famous theaters and a large selection of restaurants fromvarious ethnicities. In addition to its mild weather (year-roundtemperature in the 70-80s and less than 2 weeks of rain), Westwood is apopular place for UCLA students to hang out after work and it is notuncommon to find a familiar Hollywood star at the table next to you.Contiguous with the UCLA Medical Center is the beautiful UCLA maincampus which hosts breathtaking architecture, hidden gardens, sculptures, and of course the Bruin statue near the entrance to theworld famous UCLA basketball arena, Pawley Pavilion.
