Description
A Postdoctoral Position, in the Nislow Laboratory in the Donnelley CCBRis available immediately to join our team to construct a compendium ofgenome-wide maps of nucleosome occupancy in model organisms. Thisproject is based on our recent work, published in Nature Genetics (Leeet al. 2007) and employs cutting-edge technologies to understand therole of intrinsic and extrinsic factors in determining nucleosomeposition and gene expression. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D.in a relevant area of cell biology and genetics and will demonstratedexperience in chromatin biology and microarray analysis. Expertise in adiverse range of molecular biology techniques is required, as is astrong background in bioinformatics. Experience with high-throughputsequencing technologies is desired.
