Description

A post-doctoral position is immediately available for a highly motivatedindividual to study the molecular basis of inflammation and tissueregeneration following a burn injury. Single cell / molecule imaging,live cell imaging, kinase assays, transfection, siRNA techniques, andgeneration of transgenic mouse models are being used to elucidate therelationship between the PI3K signaling pathway and the response toburn. Candidates with PhDs in any field are encouraged to apply providedthey have a comprehensive range of technical skills in biochemistry/cellbiology/molecular biology. This position is funded by an NIH fellowshiprequiring the candidate to be a US citizen or permanent resident (greencard holder). The successful candidate will be self-motivated,productive and fluent in spoken and written English.
