DIVISION OF CELL BIOLOGY AND IMMUNOLOGY

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSISTANT
GRADE 7 (￡27,466 – ￡33,780)
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position funded by theWellcome Trust. The successful applicant will join a team of researchersstudying T Lymphocyte Biology in the laboratory of Doreen Cantrell. Anumber of potential projects are available, including analysis of thesignal transduction pathwaqys that control lymphocyte trafficking,thymocyte development or cytotoxic T lymphocyte differentiation andfunction (for examples of recent work see Nat Immunol: 9513-21; EMBO J:26: 3441-50; J Exp Med ;203(7):1665-70).
The successful applicant will be part of a well resourced laboratory inthe College of Life Sciences which has excellent core facilitiesincluding light and electron microscopy, flow cytometry and massspectrometry. Applicants should have, or be about to obtain, a PhD, andexperience in molecular biology, cell biology immunology or biochemistrywould be an advantage.
