Post-Doc Positions

Several funded post-doctoral fellowships are currently available at the Cancer and Inflammation Program (CIP, Dr. Giorgio Trinchieri, Director), Center for Cancer Research (CCR), National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Frederick, MD, for productive, highly-motivated, and energetic individuals. A dynamic research environment and outstanding resources are available for enthusiastic individuals. Requirements include a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree and experience in Immunology, Molecular Biology, and/or Signaling Research. Candidate must have excellent verbal, written, communication and organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Openings are available in the following research groups: Dr. Andy Hurwitz – studying relationship between T-cell avidity and tumor immunity using novel murine models; Dr. Stephen Anderson – studying molecular regulation of expression of NK cell receptors; Dr. Robert Wiltrout – studying mechanisms of innate and/or adaptive immunity in models of carcinogenesis/cancer biology; and Dr. Yinling Hu – studying the role of NFκB in cancer initiation cells; inflammation in tumorigenesis; mechanism of neoplastic transformation.
