Description
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship,funded by theMedical Research Council to work in the field of Molecular Biology. Thepost involves the development and use of a high throughput screen touncover a new class of Bacillus Anthraces (Anthrax) inhibitors thattarget key protein-protein interactions involved. The uncoveredcompounds will be synthesised and tested in a variety of assays.
You must, or be about to obtain, a PhD and have a strong background inmolecular biology. Experience in peptide synthesis, ELISA and WesternBlotting would be an advantage.
This appointment is funded for up to 36 months (short-term), theproposed starting date ideally being 1st November 2008 – but can beearlier or later by agreement.
