Description
We invite highly motivated individuals to apply for two postdoctoral positions at the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. We investigate small regulatory RNAs e.g. siRNA and microRNA in mammalian stem cells including expression, function and potential therapeutic application. Our new laboratory is equipped with state-of-art equipments and facilities to dissect small RNA pathways. The expertise in the laboratory is in stem cell biology, developmental biology and small RNA biology. Several excellent research projects are immediately available. For example of recent research projects, see: Nature 452:225-229, 2008; Nature Genetics 38:356-362, 2006.
This position is open for a candidate with strong background in molecular biology, cell biology and/or biochemistry. Experience with mammalian cell culture, protein complex purification, RNA biology and/or bioinformatics is highly desired.
