To support its research strategy, the Nutrition & Health Department at the NRC is seeking a:
Research Scientist in Allergy
Main responsibilities:
Manage a key project of the allergy project portfolio.
Capture current knowledge and new trends in the area of allergy to enrich group strategy.
Propose human pilot trials or clinical research experiments to substantiate the anti-allergy effects of specific ingredients.
Give oral presentations; write reports, position papers or articles; review research proposals.
- Coach younger members of the group.
Required profile:
Immunology with a specialization in allergy is a must, ideally covering preclinical and clinical research (bench experience).
PhD in Sciences/Biology with over 3 years of post-doctoral experience or medical training.
Capacity to manage large projects involving different partners from within Nestlé or external.
Experience in setting-up of or participating in clinical trials would be a plus.
- Excellent skills in oral presentation and writing (in English); analytical skills.
Personal requirements:
Solid networking capacities, open personality and well organized.
Autonomous, able to take initiative, driving force and pro-active, solution finding.
- Solid oral and written communication skills, good people management skills.
