Postdoctoral Researcher (f/m)
The successful applicant will study the proteolytic activation of influenza and coronaviruses and will devise strategies for the inhibition of the responsible enzymes.
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or an equivalent degree in virology or related biomedical sciences. Experience in research in a high-containment laboratory (BSL3) is a plus. Expertise in techniques of molecular virology and biochemistry is preferred. Curiosity, diligence and the ability to work in a team are essential.
The appointment at the DPZ is in accordance with the applied regulations of public service. The classification follows the TV-L. Qualified applicants with a disability will be given preference.
