We are searching highly motivated scientists to work in a top-quality academic environment. Candidates will work to study the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms driving normal and cancer stem cells in the brain. Our laboratory combines state-of-the-art bioinformatics, cancer genetics and functional experiements in various in vitro and in vivo models to identify and target the most important drivers of brain tumors in children and adults. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated knowledge and experience with cell biology, protein biochemistry, general molecular biology and transgenic/knockout mouse models. Experience with primary cultures of mammalian neural cells and system biology a plus. Position is available immediately.
