Research Officer (2 posts) Full time, permanent London NW1 £27,000 pa
Working closely with the Research Manager and other members of theResearch team, you will handle the administration of a wide range ofresearch grants and funding schemes. You will assist in the peer reviewprocess, liaison with potential applicants and existing grant holders,and in reporting the outcomes of successful applications. You will alsobe expected to produce accurate, high quality minutes of meetings and beable to provide information about our research to a wide range of stakeholders.
Ideally, you will have a higher degree in a diabetes research relatedarea or substantial experience in a similar role. Excellent timemanagement and communication skills are vital as are an ability to workas part of a team, and independently without supervision as the jobdemands. You will need to be able to travel within the UK and someevening and weekend work may be required to give talks to our Voluntary Groups.
