Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Design and fabricate silicon photonic component, with emphasis on silicon-based microwave photonic (MWP) filters
• Work with a team of engineers and researchers to develop novel MWP filter technology
• Develop and realize new device structure and processes in compliance to project specifications and requirements
• Establish and secure collaborations with leaders in the photonics field, including both academic researchers and industry partners

Requirements:
• PhD degree in electrical engineering/applied physics or equivalent with major strength in device/system physics and process integration
• Good knowledge and experience in microwave photonics, knowledge and experience of design and fabricate silicon photonic devices as well as design of travelling wave electrode would be advantages.
• 2-3 years experience in research and development with a history of successful project management
• Good publication’s track record in relevant fields
• Capable to work with interdisciplinary team of researchers
• Excellent communication, presentation and technical writing skills
