An opportunity has arisen for an experienced researcher to work in the department’s recently created Heath Services and Policy Research Group (HSPRG) on some exciting new projects. The role will involve participating in different aspects of research on quality and safety of primary care, with a particular focus on multi-morbidity, and providing general support to the development of the group.
The role involves conducting systematic reviews, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, writing applications for funding, contributing to the dissemination of research results and generally facilitating HSPRG projects.
Educated to at least Masters level, you will have expertise in mixed methods and systematic reviews, and a proven ability to manage research projects. This position would be particularly suited to junior post-doctoral researchers that wish to further develop their skills and gain additional experience in health services and policy research with the aim of developing their own research in a highly prestigious and competitive environment.
The post is for 1 year in the first instance. The Heath Services and Policy Research Group will encourage and support the researcher in applying for external sources of personal funding in order to secure sustained collaboration over an extended period of time.
We anticipate interviews will be held in the week beginning 26 September.
