Job Description:
My laboratory studies cellular mechanisms and behavioral consequences of synaptic inhibition evoked by neurotransmitters and drugs of abuse. At present, multidisciplinary approaches including techniques in slice electrophysiology, mouse genetics, behavioral pharmacology, and proteomics are being directed at understanding the contribution of G protein-gated K+ channels to the synaptic inhibitory effects associated with GABAB receptor signaling.
