POST DOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOW IN MELANOMA AND DEVELOPMENTAL GENETICS(LEVEL A)
(One year, full-time, fixed-term position)
The School of Exercise, Biomedical and Health Sciences is developing astrong research focus on applications of developmental genetics tomelanoma diagnosis and prognosis. In particular, research is beingconducted with a view to understanding the role of developmental genesin metastasis of Cutaneous Malignant Melanoma.
The postdoctoral research fellow will work within a small team supportedby leading clinicians and will conduct research into the role ofdevelopmental genes in melanoma progression. Principal outcome measureswill be characterisation of the molecular profile of a metastaticmelanoma cell.
This position attracts remuneration of $71,898 to $77,172 pa inclusiveof University superannuation contribution, with a salary component of$61,452 to $65,959 pa.
