Description:

A Postdoctoral Associate position is immediately available in the Paschen lab in the Department of Anesthesiology at Duke University Medical Center, to study the role of small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMO) conjugation in deep hypothermia-induced organ protection. (Journal of Cerebral Blood Flow & Metabolism 2009; 29: 886-890). Highly motivated individuals with a strong background in molecular biology and biochemistry are encouraged to apply. Experiences with proteomic analysis is a plus.
