Provide technical support of all the Biomedical Equipment to achieveefficient and effective services, with quality control, in line withorganization strategy, goals and values.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
(A) SPECIFIC (80%)
1. Provide daily technical support to all Jiahui sites, ensuringefficient operations of services provide across all Jiahui sites,including a. new medical devices commissioning – installation, testing andacceptance; b. medical devices asset management; c. preventive maintenance management; d. calibration maintenance management; e. corrective maintenance management. 2. Manage and administrate service contracts for medical equipment. 3. Assist medical staff in evaluating medical devices needed for patientcare, including: a. Drafting specifications and Request for Proposals (RFPs) for newmedical equipment purchases b. Coordinating with Facilities Management & IT for equipmentintegration and software integration respectively 4. Carry out operational policies and standard operating procedures (SOPS). 5. Ensure dialy work activities & practices conform to standards andaudit requirements as required by government agencies and JointCommission International (JCI). 6. Develop quality indicators (KPIs) and measurements to monitordepartment’s performance. 7. Identify service discrepancies and work on process improvements,rectify service lapses and develop alternative plans
(B) GENERAL (20%)
8. Support clinical level activities and committee/workgroup secretariat. 9. To be a member in embracing change. 10. To be a part of the team with planning for succession 11. To support all clinical development and quality improvement activities. 12. Encourage effective teamwork approach across practice 13. Perform any other duties as assigned by BME manager, OS.
Minimal Skills Requirements: 1. Basic Degree major in Bioengineer or Electronic Engineering,biomedical engineering would be valued 2. A minimum of three years of Biomedical Engineering experience 3. Highly motivated and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills 4. Experience in on site service for medical equipment 5. Detail oriented with organizational skills and ability to prioritizein a highly complex environment 6. Basic level of English in reading and writing 7. Good oral and written communication skills 8. Able to work independently 9. Good time management ability
