DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 工作职责: As part of the sports medicine team, the orthopedic surgeon will: I. Commissioning function 1. Advise in medical equipment and consumables selection; 2. Review tender specifications for medical equipment and consumablesand provide assessment of tender proposals as needed; 3. Assist in charge-master set up 4. Prepare Orthopedic Trauma services by evaluating patient careprotocols; researching and evaluating emerging trends. II. Clinical Responsibilities 5. Provide safe, competent and consistent patient care to surgerypatients; 6. Patient notes need to be completed daily and timely for the purposeof care’s integrity and consistency; 7. Educate the patient, or the patient*s support system, on thetreatment process; 8. Consult with other health care professionals, including physicians,occupational therapists and social workers to offer a patient the best,most holistic care possible. 9. Teach the group lessons about sports medicine related topics. 10. Assist to assure sports medicine quality services by establishingand maintaining departmental quality assurance program includingmonitoring of quality indicators, documenting actions taken to resolveproblems, and reporting to the medical care evaluation committee inaccordance with JIC standards 11. Equally share call/coverage duties 12. Daily inpatient ward round for his/her own patients 13. Meet Standards of professional conduct and courtesy 14. Appropriate code, document and submit charges in a timely manner 15. Provide administrative support and committee assignments as requested 16. Participate in Fellow training when requested 17. Attend MAO-physicians meeting, departmental meetings, Grand Round,Committee meetings and CEO meeting when asked for
