岗位职责: • Perform daily patient rounds, either individually, or as part of theteam. Review subjective and objective findings including labs,diagnostic testing, vital signs, wound status, and drains and providedata to senior consultant surgeons when necessary. • Provides patient education related to procedures, medications,therapeutic goals, etc. • Arranges for consults and patient transfers as needed. • Collaborates with senior consultants in the establishment of diagnosesand treatments of therapies and discharge needs both in the inpatientand outpatient setting. • Discontinue drains, dressings changes, wound assessments, staple andsuture removal, cast and splint applications and removal as indicated. • Writes daily progress notes on all inpatients. Writes progress notesfor each patient seen in clinic. • Assesses patient’s progress through extended hospital course, utilizesavailable resources, and intervenes as necessary to ensure that optimalpatient outcomes are achieved. • Resource for nursing staff regarding patient care issues. • Staff outpatient orthopedic clinic • Perform independent surgery on privileged cases in consultation withthe CMO • Assists senior consultants on orthopedic cases • Will work closely with the Administrative Leader/Chairperson of theDepartment in supporting departmental goals • Following UFH’s commitment to educating the next generation of medicalprofessionals, physicians will be responsible, as part of their ongoingduties, for mentoring, precepting, teaching and supervising UFH fellowsor other relevant trainees. • Additional job responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, departmentchair or CMO. • Will agree to serve on at least one hospital/clinic committee. • Works on quality improvement activities within the department incollaboration with other physicians and Department Chairperson. • Exemplifies highest levels of professionalism and medical ethics inevery aspect of his or her work and relationships 任职要求: • Medical qualification from recognized institution • Wide range of clinical knowledge and skill in orthopedics • More than 10 years of clinical experience in orthopedics • Previous experience of clinical leadership would be preferred • Overseas clinical experience would be advantage
