岗位职责: Job Title: Pediatrician Department: Pediatrics General Statement of Duties: The General Pediatrician will be responsible for treating and managingpediatric patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Supervision Received: Administrative Leader/Chairperson and Medical Director/CMO Supervision Exercised: None Qualifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible (or equivalent) in Pediatrics Education and/or Experience: ● Doctor of medicine degree (or equivalent) from an approved school of medicine ● Minimum three years of residency training in Pediatrics at a hospitaland program acceptable to the Medical Director ● Minimum 3-5 years experience post-residency in the clinical area Language Skills: ● Fluency in English Required ● Additional Languages a plus Reasoning Ability: Superior diagnostic skills Supervisory Responsibilities: None Primary Responsibilities: ● Examines, diagnoses, and treats acute and chronic diseases andinjuries within the scope of Pediatrics in both the inpatient andoutpatient setting. Prepares and reviews case histories and obtains datathrough interviews. Examines patients and determines x-ray examinationsand clinical laboratory tests required. Interprets test results andevaluates examination findings. Conducts ward rounds and prescribestherapy. Administers and prescribes treatment such as antibiotics,drugs, and compresses. Performs minor surgical procedures. Determinesneed for and assists in specialized medical care and treatment. May begranted additional privileges based on documented proficiency ● Will agree to serve on one hospital/clinic committee ● Works on quality improvement activities within the department incollaboration with other pediatricians, AdministrativeLeader/Chairperson and CMO ● Will work closely with the Administrative Leader/Chairperson of theDepartment in supporting departmental goals ● May be granted additional responsibilities based on consultation withDepartment Leader/Chairperson and/or Medical Director/CMO. ● Teach and supervise relevant staff, in support of the development ofthe field of Pediatrics, as appropriate ● Develop pediatrics team, including identifying, teaching, andsupervising staff as needed. ● Cover 4 night shifts per month. 任职要求: ● Doctor of medicine degree (or equivalent) from an approved school of medicine ● Board Certified/Board Eligible (or equivalent) in Pediatrics ● Minimum three years of residency training in Pediatrics at a hospitaland program acceptable to the Medical Director ● Minimum 3-5 years experience post-residency in the clinical area
