岗位职责: • Establish unity within the Section, bridging cultural divides; • Model leadership and teamwork within the Department;
• In line with the Department Chair, Chief Medical Officer or designeeand General Manager develop a vision within the Department thatfacilitates increases activity, complexity and scope of service; • In line with the Hospital strategy, develop and implement programsfor growth – to reflect increase activity, complexity and scope of service; • Assist the development of the Department Budgets in line with existingprocesses, to carry out the strategy and to optimize efficiencies;
• Make recommendations for maintaining and evaluating and improving thequality of care provided in the Department by developing pathways andclinical guidelines in a collaborative manner, and ensure applicationand integration of them within the Department;
• Assist development of a quality monitoring and quality improvementprogram. Implement quality control and quality indicators that addressthe services provided in their department. • Assist the preparation and implements departmental policies,procedures and plans
• Actively be involved in patient complaints, and review peer reviewcases in an adjudication role;
• Support talent acquisition, recruiting and training of physicians, andlead performance review and improvement as needed, including the settingof goals across the department for both individual and group targets; • Maintain oversight of the performance of department staff; • Ensure ongoing medical education for the medical staff in the Department;
• Work closely with the department chair and facility RegulatoryOfficers to ensure practice patterns meet and conform to regulatoryrequirements within China and Beijing Municipality; • Work closely with facility Regulatory Officers ensuring thatappropriate employees are kept informed of developments within theregulatory environment, including planned and existing regulations;
• Enforce medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, and policies withinthe Department, and initiate investigations of clinical performance ororder consultations, when necessary;
• Generally participate in every phase of administration in theDepartment, such as cooperating with nursing services and administrationin matters affecting patient care, including personnel, supplies,special regulations, standing orders, and techniques;
• Meet regularly (at least monthly) with the department chair designee; • Where relevant, support UFH Centres, including research, training,disaster relief, and primary care. • Where relevant, assist in new development projects.
• Perform any duties as may be requested by the department chair ordesignee during the department chair’s absence; 任职要求: • Doctor of Medicine degree (or equivalent) from an approved school of medicine • Board Certified (or equivalent) in ……………………… • In possession of an active Chinese Medical License; • Minimum 3-5 years of previous experience at a clinical administrativelevel preferred; • Previous leadership positions/training held in similar sized (orlarger) environment. • Must be a full member of the Medical Staff as defined in the MedicalStaff By-Laws; • Previous experience, training and working knowledge of managementtechniques with proven successful service within a medical staffstructure preferred; • Fluency in English essential; Chinese fluency preferred
