职位概述: Supervise and educate the laboratory skill for staff; assist lab manageron quality improvement; assist manager on staff competence evaluation;perform and oversee the internal quality control system and proficiencytests, write/establish the SOP or guideline in assigned group.Responsible for laboratory instrument operation, maintenance andcalibration. Represent department to attend necessary hospital andoutside meeting. 职责: • Monitor specimen collection, identification, transport, storage, andprocessing to ensure quality of specimen before testing. • Prepares reagents, standards and controls according to prescribedprocedures. Performs tests and sample analysis in the areas of clinical chemistry,hematology, microbiology, immunology and/or Body fluid analysis. • Verifies test results prior to release. • Performs quality control to ensure proper functioning of instruments,reagents, and procedures. Recognizes instrument malfunction and out-of-control testresults and takes corrective action. • Calibrates, standardizes, and maintains test equipment andinstruments, following established procedures in the assigned area. • Answers questions of physicians and nurses concerning laboratorytests, accepts complaints, and take corrective actions. • Trains new employees the laboratory techniques. • Gives lectures on lab test techniques or related diseases inlaboratory. • Develops and prepares quality standards, programs and standardoperation procedures (SOP) in the assigned area; monitors and maintains quality of laboratoryoperations and performance of laboratory staff in compliance with accreditationstandards, safety and environmental regulations. • Develops and evaluates laboratory methodologies, protocols, andtechniques according to clinical requirements. • Acts as an information/technical resource on testing methods andprocedures and laboratory operations, safety, and training in the assigned area. • Usage, storage and ordering of reagents in the assigned area. • In charge of the Proficiency Survey in the assigned area. • Participates in education class and continuing education programs.Attends workshops, seminars, and lectures to keep current on new instrumentation,techniques and procedures as assigned by the director. • Join the internal & external QC results and monitors QC results. • Represent department to attend hospital and outside meeting. Assistmanager on all kinds of Works for inspection, accreditation. • Assist manager in business development, quality improvement jobs. • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: • At least 1 year working experience in SHU lab. • Advanced English level in listening, speaking, reading and writing isrequired. • Certification as a senior medical technologist of NationalCertification Agency is preferred. •2 years work experience in clinic microbiology is preferred.
Skills: • Ability to perform proficiency test, internal quality controlpractice as well as quality assessment. • Have multiply skill to solve the complicated cases. • Ability to write/establish the SOP or policy in related group. • Ability to listening, speaking, reading and writing with Englishskill. • Computer skill –Using computers and computer system to program, setup some functions involved with daily work. • Ability to supervise and train staff, including organizing,prioritizing, and scheduling work Assignments. • Ability to analyze and solve problem across department. • Ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge: • Knowledge or concept of tests related to clinical laboratory,especially in the assigned group. • Knowledge of tests principle and process for providing physicianservice. • An understanding of the underlying scientific principles oflaboratory testing as well as the technique, procedural, and problem-solving aspects, especially in theassigned area. • Knowledge of maintenance, calibration, quality control andtroubleshooting of instruments in the assigned area. • A general comprehension of the many factors that affect health anddisease, and recognizes the importance of proper test selection, the numerous causesof discrepant test results (patient and laboratory), deviation of test results, andethics including result confidentiality. • Correlates abnormal data with pathologic states, determines validityof test results, and need for additional tests. • Understands and enforces safety regulations. • Knowledge of quality control programs. • Knowledge of policies on ordering, storage and usage of reagents. • Knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements andstandards. • Knowledge of staff training, arrangement in order to improve workefficiency within the assigned group.
