岗位职责: Summary of Responsibilities: Responsible for patient information release issues, maintain accuracyand completeness of medical records, assure meets clinic’s needs ofrequesting medical records for patient’s care purpose, and abstractingof diagnosis and procedures. Also assists medical record supervisor inthe efficient and effective management of HIM Department consistent withthe medical, administrative, ethical and legal requirements of thehealth care delivery system. Substitutes for other HIM department staffsas needed. Responsibilities: • Generates daily report of outpatient and inpatient on a daily basis. • Reviews daily medical records of discharged patients for recordcompleteness and accuracy. File out the relative forms accordingly. • Monitors deficient records, follows up with doctor’s offices fordeficient operative reports, and compiles deficiency statistics asrequired. • Taking request from patients, verifying the patient or the request oridentification, release patient’s information according to relatedpolicies. • Re-analyze charts for any remaining incomplete items. • Collect and analyze patient and institutional data for health care andhealth related programs • ICD-10 and ICD-9 relative job • Any other duties as HIM Supervisor assigned.

One-year medical record management experience preferred On the job training can be provided to those who meet the educationalspecifications. Skills: • Attention to detail and record keeping, organizational, oral, andwritten communication skills are required. • Must have ability to speak, understand and be understood in theEnglish language.. • Knowledge in the use of personal computers is required. Knowledge: Knowledge of medical procedures, medical terminology, anatomy andphysiology and disease processes.
